Dr. Sara Fackelman is a licensed mental health counselor practicing in the Tampa Bay area for over 30 years. As the daughter of a retired Naval officer and a native New Yorker, Dr. Sara was often the "new kid" in her class. Her need to continually make new friends and meet new people led her to reach out to others for relationship. She has turned this wonderful experience into an ability to direct her life into a profession where she can continue to reach out and help people move towards their goals and a new future. Not only does she work with anxiety, depression, grief, and loss, Dr. Fackelman has extensive knowledge, experience, and board certification in gender and sex therapy, including alternative lifestyles (poly and kink), and offers a personalized approach tailored to each of her client's individual needs . As an active member of her community, she fights for the rights and inclusivity of transgender individuals. When we champion for the rights of transgender people to receive equality, fairness, and compassion, we fight for the humane rights of all people.
